A little slow on the cupcake uptake...
Just a quick note!
I know I'm probably the last person on the planet Earth to have seen it... (aside from my charming viewing-companion) ...but Forgetting Sarah Marshall is really damn good. I mean, REALLY.
I just saw this recently as well, and during the first hour, I was all, "this isn't nearly as funny as I thought it would be". Then, I realized that it wasn't about the funny, it was about this great love story. Sounds cheesy, but the movie was incredible. I immediately bought the 3-disc DVD. Because I have an addiction. But that's beside the point, it was a great movie!
RIGHT?? The "tell me you're sorry" scene? Totally incredible. I love that movie. And, in it's defense, it still brings plenty of the funny. Jason Segel drunkenly singing and playing The Muppet Show theme song in a minor key? Genius.
